Geotechnical Engineer

Experienced, licensed Civil/Geotechnical Engineer with management interest/abilities to head the geotechnical and materials testing departments of a 20-person multi-disciplinary design and consulting engineering firm.  Responsible for generating geotechnical engineering reports for commercial structures, industrial, educational and medical facilities, roads, and bridges; develop engineering study proposals; be responsible for collection, documentation, analysis and reporting of field data; coordinate field explorations and laboratory testing; and develop design and construction recommendations.

Must be a self-motivated team-player with excellent communication skills both oral and written, possess sound project management skills, ability to generate both geotechnical and materials testing proposals, and have an understanding of contracts and agreements.

A PE license in civil engineering or GE in geotechnical engineering is required. Registration in Oregon or ability to obtain within 3 months is required. A minimum of five years progressive experience in geotechnical engineering. Strong attention to detail, in order to ensure compliance with relevant state/federal regulations and client specific requirements. Some key requirements of the position include: a keen understanding of geotechnical engineering principles, building client relationships, and developing new customers.

Senior Structural Engineer

Responsible for structural investigation reports, design or rehabilitation (including seismic renovations) of commercial structures, industrial, educational and healthcare facilities, roads, and bridges.

Civil CAD Technition

Multi-discipline Consulting Engineering firm has an opening for an experienced Civil CAD Technician with 2-5 years of AutoCAD and Civil3D experience. Topographic Survey skills a plus but are not required. Job duties include:

Drafting plans and detailed drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D for projects such as parking lots, roadways, storm drain, sanitary sewer and domestic water systems working from sketches, notes or mark-ups from project engineer/manager.
